The Jackals enter week nine with a record of 3-4-0, placing them in fourth place in the Western Conference. After having a bye week they'll look to continue the winning ways against the 2-5-0 Miami Sharks.

The last time the Jackals were in action they secured a dramatic last-minute win against Utah, courtesy of Tomas Beckerman's clutch try. Despite their struggles in the scrums, Dallas has excelled in other areas, boasting the league's best lineout success rate. Their dominance in possession and territory against the Warriors highlights their ability to control the game, and they'll be looking to replicate that performance against Miami. One key battleground to watch will be the breakdown, where both teams excel. Miami's league-best tackle rate of 88.4% will be put to the test against Dallas' relentless attacking threat. The battle for possession will be crucial, with turnovers potentially deciding the outcome of the match.

The Sharks are riding high after claiming their first-ever road victory and securing their franchise's second win against NOLA.
