
DaJuan Summers Wins Performer of the Week

WHITE PLAINS - Westchester Knicks forward DaJuan Summers was named the NBA Development League Performer of the Week today for games played Thursday, Nov. 12 through Sunday, Nov. 22. The honor is the first of the 2015-16 season and the first in Westchester Knicks history.
In three games, Summers (6-8, 240) led the Westchester Knicks to a 3-0 start before being injured on Friday, Nov. 20 in the final two minutes of the team's win against the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Prior to the injury, Summers was averaging 25.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
In his first game with Westchester, Summers scored a team-high 28 points, also grabbing nine rebounds in a 105-103 win over the Maine Red Claws. Summers followed his opening night performance with two straight double-doubles, collecting 30 points and 11 rebounds in the 83-79 win over the Erie BayHawks, and 18 points and 11 rebounds, along with four steals, in the 107-94 win over Sioux Falls.
