Tri-City Storm News Release
KEARNEY â The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League announced on Tuesday that defenseman Brian D'Arcy will not be available for the remainder of the team's 2003-04 schedule.
D'Arcy suffered a concussion during the Jan. 30 game against Des Moines. The effects of that concussion will prevent him from skating for the Storm again this season. D'Arcy will remain with the team the remainder of the year and help with game operations.
D'Arcy is expected to fully recover from the concussion and should be ready for the 2004-05 season when he attends Notre Dame University in the fall. D'Arcy committed in January to play hockey for the Fighting Irish.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound D'Arcy skated in 32 games in a Storm uniform. He had no goals, two assists and 36 penalty minutes.
