REGULAR SEASON per game numbers from the 2006-07 regular season
Points: 22.3, Roger Powell, ARK. Rebounds: 9.6, Elton Brown, COL. Assists: 7.1, Pooh Jeter, COL. Steals: 2.1 Clay Tucker, ARK. Blocks: 2.5, Cezary Trybanski, TUL. PRETTY DANG GOOD: How good was the D-League this season? Of the per game leaders listed above, only Colorado post player Elton Brown and Dakota swingman Renaldo Major were named by league coaches as Gatorade First Team All-D-League selections.

IS WINNING IMPORTANT? Arkansas forward Roger Powell led the league in points (22.3), field goals made (7.9) and free throws made (5.6) per game, but played on a team with the league's worst record. Powell was an honorable mention All-D-League choice by the league's 12 head coaches.

WHERE'S DIJON? Similar arguments might be made for Albuquerque forward Dijon Thompson, who led the league in minutes played (40.1) and was second in scoring (20.8) and rebounding (8.9). The T-Birds made the postseason, but with a sub-.500 record. All-D-League mention? Honorable.
