SEATS FOR KIDS: Idaho has tipped off a "Seats for Kids" program, which will provide underprivileged children the opportunity to experience a Stampede home game. For every ticket donation package purchased, the Stampede will donate an equal number of tickets on the purchaser's behalf. There are three options for the "Seats for Kids" program, team match included: Gold (200 kids), Silver (100 kids) and Bronze (40 kids).
GOOD COMPANY: Scooter McFadgon's 48-point outburst for Bakersfield at Colorado on Wednesday was the third-highest single-game scoring effort in league history. Arkansas guard Clay Tucker holds the record with 51 against Austin on March 3 of this season. Billy Thomas scored 49 for Greenville against Asheville on March 22, 2003.

RECORD FOR FREEBIES: With 22 at Colorado on Wednesday, Bakersfield guard Scooter McFadgon claimed the league single-game record for free throws made in a single game. Anthony Grundy of Roanoke held the previous mark with 20 against Fayetteville on March 3 of last season. His 23 free throws attempted is two short of that record, also set by Grundy in the same game last year.

SOUND OFF T BELL: Austin guard Troy Bell has put up 61 points (30.5 pg) in his last two outings, converting 21-of-34 (.618) from the field, 7-of-13 (.538) from three-point range.

STAY A WHILE: The Washington Wizards have signed former Tulsa 66ers forward Mike Hall for the remainder of the 2006-07 season following a pair of 10-day contracts. He appeared in 29 games for the 66ers, averaging 15.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

THEY SAID IT: "Coach Johnson was very involved in our local youth basketball community. "It's an honor for the Toros to host this event and recognize some of the most talented players in the region." ... Austin team president Mike Berry said when announcing the Toros will host the inaugural Dennis Johnson Memorial High School All-Star Game on April 14 prior to the season finale at the Austin Convention Center.
