ALL-STAR SATURDAY: The inaugural Gillette D-League All-Star Game in association with 24 Hour Fitness is scheduled for Saturday Feb. 17 on Center Court at NBA All-Star Jam Session at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. COOP IN SHOOTING STARS: Five-time NBA champion and current Albuquerque Thunderbirds coach Michael Cooper will join current Laker Lamar Odom and 2005 WNBA Rookie of the Year Temeka Johnson to form Team Los Angeles in the Haier Shooting Stars Competition to be held on NBA All-Star Saturday Night presented by EA SPORTSâ¢, Feb. 17 at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

ASSIGNMENT DRAFT: Twenty-four (24) first or second-round NBA Draft selections from the last two years have been assigned to the D-League by 20 NBA teams, including first-rounders Martell Webster of Portland, Gerald Green of Boston, Julius Hodge of Denver, Patrick O'Bryant of Golden State, Mouhamed Sene of Seattle and Maurice Ager of Dallas.
PERFORMER OF THE WEEK: Arkansas forward Roger Powell has been named the D-LEAGUE.com Performer of the Week for games played from Feb. 5-12. He led the RimRockers in scoring three times as they compiled a 2-1 record last week. For the week, Powell averaged 27.0 points, 8.3 rebounds, and shot .545 (30-of-55) from the field. Since joining the RimRockers on January 19th, he has averaged 24.9 points and 7.5 rebounds in eight games.
TURNOVER TIDBITS: The Arkansas RimRockers lead the league in creating turnovers, forcing 20.9 per game. The Anaheim Arsenal is the league's best team at taking care of the basketball, committing 15.9 turnovers per game.

I couldn't get away with nothing." ... Fort Worth center Deji Akindele told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram about growing up with six sisters.
QUIZ ANSWER: Boston forward Gerald Green played nine games in the D-League last season on assignment from the Celtics. Green averaged 11.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in stints with both Fayetteville and Florida.
