FIVE NEW MARKETS:
The 2005-06 version of the D-League boasts five new markets: Albuquerque, N.M., Little Rock, Ark., Fort Worth and Austin, Texas, as well as Tulsa, Okla.
OLD FACES IN NEW PLACES:
Joey Meyer who coached the Asheville Altitude to back-to-back D-League championships, is now the coach of the Tulsa 66ers. Dennis Johnson has left South Florida and the Flame and is now the coach of the Austin Toros. Jeff Malone, who guided Columbus to the 04-05 regular season title, is now the head coach of the Flame.
NBA TV GAME OF THE WEEK:
Tonight's Albuquerque at Tulsa matchup will be aired on a tape-delayed basis on NBA TV Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. ET and again Nov. 26 at Noon ET.
THIS WEEK IN THE D-LEAGUE:
The weekly live magazine-style show that features all things D-League, premiers December 1 at 9 p.m. ET and will air live every Thursday throughout the season at 9 p.m. ET.
