
D-Fenders Partner with the Salvation Army

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders, the official D-League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers, are partnering up with The Salvation Army this holiday season for Community Day on Wednesday, December 11th.
The team will be making and serving sandwiches for The Salvation Army Lunch Program as well as sorting toys that will go to underprivileged children this Christmas. The event will take place from 9:00am to 11:00am at the Salvation Army located at 324 E. Queen Street in Inglewood. In addition, the D-Fenders will be hosting a Toy drive during home games to benefit The Salvation Army, which will be distributed to children within the LAX Gateway communities. If you would like to donate please bring your toy to one of the designated home games (12/14, 12/15 and 12/21).
