D.C. United Announces Make-Up Dates for Reserve Matches

Washington, D.C. (November 2, 2011) - D.C. United announced today make-up dates for its postponed MLS Reserve League matches against the New York Red Bulls and Columbus Crew. United will face the Red Bulls at the RFK Training Field on November 10 at 11:00 a.m. ET. The Black-and-Red will then travel to Columbus to play the Crew on November 15 at 11:00 a.m. ET.

United Reserves currently sit in second place in the East Division of the MLS Reserve League at 5-0-3 (18 points), six points behind Columbus. The Black-and-Red Reserves played their eighth match of the season on October 6 against the New York Red Bulls at Montclair State University. United drew 1-1 against the Red Bulls with a goal from Cristhyan Najar in the 55th minute.

Joseph Ngwenya is United's leading scorer in the MLS Reserve League with four goals, just two behind Reserve League leading scorer Ruben Luna (FC Dallas). Blake Brettschneider follows Ngwenya with three goals in 2011 Reserve League action.
