November 21, 2023 - XFL (XFL)
D.C. Defenders News Release
Washington, D.C. - The D.C. Defenders today announced a new program to support and recognize local nonprofit organizations during the 2024 season. The Community Ticket Program invites season-long premium suite holders and corporate partners to direct tickets to Defenders home games to area nonprofits that serve youth, support educational initiatives, and deliver life-changing resources to residents in the region. In addition to providing tickets for nonprofit partners to host volunteers and communities they serve, the Defenders will recognize each nonprofit during games to drive awareness.
At launch, premium suite holders can donate up to 20 tickets per game (up to 100 game tickets for the regular season) to a preselected partner of the Defenders or a local nonprofit of their choice. Premium suite holders and corporate partners also have the option to purchase additional Community Tickets.
"The D.C. Defenders reflect a vibrant and diverse community, and our games offer an opportunity to come alongside fellow residents for fun and football," said Kate Greenberg, Vice President of Team Business and Event Operations. "The Community Ticket Program ensures we join hands to involve our most vulnerable residents in the celebration of community while also recognizing the organizations that do meaningful work in our region."
