D.C. Defenders Invite Fans to Get and Give with Unique "BOGO" Offer for All Season Plans Purchased in December

Washington, D.C. - The D.C. Defenders introduce today a unique "Buy One Give One" offer for all season plans purchased in the month of December. The twist on the popular "BOGO" allows fans to not only secure seats for the upcoming season but also unlocks support for the recently launched Community Ticket Program. For every season plan sold, the Defenders will donate a ticket to a 2024 Defenders home game to an area nonprofit that serves youth, supports educational initiatives, and delivers life-changing resources to residents in the region.

"Defenders season ticket memberships are the perfect holiday gift for football fans," said Kate Greenberg, Vice President of Team Business and Event Operations for the D.C. Defenders. "Our twist on 'BOGO' allows Season Ticket Members to give or get the gift of football while supporting local community partners."

Season ticket memberships are currently the only way to secure seats for the upcoming season, and sellout games are expected to continue following the success of the Defenders during the 2023 season that marked the return of spring football. Tickets for the 2024 season are selling quickly, with more than 3,500 season ticket memberships sold to date - surpassing the total number of plans sold last season.

Starting at an affordable $115 for the season - only $23 per game, season plans are available for purchase now for all seating areas. Earlier this year, the Defenders also opened up season tickets for the first time in the supporters section, home of the fan-led Beer Snake. In addition to the lowest price per game and no fees, Season Ticket Members enjoy benefits including:

Priority access to purchase additional seats at season ticket plan pricing

Priority access to purchase seats for XFL Playoffs and 2024 XFL Championship Game

Priority invites to away game watch parties and team events

20% discount on merchandise at XFLshop.com (online only)

30% off a weekly online Bundle of the Week during the 2024 season (February - April)

Priority access to renew same seat location for 2025

The "Buy One Give One" offer expands the Community Ticket Program, launched last month by the Defenders for season-long premium suite holders and corporate partners to direct tickets to Defenders home games to area nonprofits. In a time of year marked by giving, the Defenders now invite Season Ticket Members to participate in the program by donating the community ticket on behalf of the plan holder as an added benefit. Throughout the 2024 season, the Defenders will recognize each nonprofit benefiting from the Community Ticket Program in order to drive awareness of the critical work done by each organization to support area residents.
