Cyclones Welcome New Athletic Trainer

The Twin City Cyclones professional ice hockey team, members of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), are pleased to welcome Brett Allen as their athletic trainer for the upcoming 2007-08 season.

Allen, originially from Gainsville, Florida, attended Middle Tennessee State University on a baseball scholarship. Allen has worked in professional baseball for four seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, and the Washington Nationals. Allen completed his first year as atheltic trainer in professional hockey with the Elmira Jackals of the United Hockey League last season.

Leading an active lifestyle, Allen likes to wakeboard, snowboard, and golf in his spare time. A self-professed "big competitor," Allen looks forward to the challenge of becoming the Cyclones' new athletic trainer.

The Cyclones are looking forward to working with Brett this season.
