
Cyclones Take First Road Win, 7-4

The Pee Dee Cyclones finally won their first road game Saturday night against the Columbus Cottonmouths by the score of 7-4.
The Cyclones would score the first three goals of the game with Chris Rebernik getting one and Brian Boike scoring two. However, the Snakes' answer would come at the 5:57 mark of the second period with Orrin Hergott getting their first goal of the game. Before the period was out, Pee Dee's Chris Rebernik would get his second of the game off an assist from Corey Hessler and Edan Welch. "The Mayor" Chris Crombie would score a power play goal for his first point in a Cyclones' uniform to go along with the fight he won against Columbus' Daryl Moor.
Rebernik would get his hat trick goal on the power play at the 2:26 mark of the third and Pee Dee's Daryl Moore would get the seventh goal for the Cyclones. The Cottonmouth's would score three goals in the third to make the score respectable. Edan Welch would end up with a four point night and Jeff Marler got three points in the game. The Cyclones' next game is set for Thanksgiving night in Fayetteville before returning home to the Florence Civic Center on Friday night.
