The Pee Dee Cyclones returned to home ice Friday night looking to give the fans a win. Due to all-star performances by Geoff Rollins and Allan Sirois, the Cyclones were able to hold on to defeat the Ice Bears. The first period belonged to Knoxville, with three goals coming within just minutes of each other. Two of those goals belonged to Ice Bears' Rob Flynn, the other Mike Craigen. At the end of the first, Knoxville was up 3-0.
