Cyclones Sign First Goalie of 2006-07 Season

July 24, 2006 - Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) - Twin City Cyclones News Release

Mark Richards, Head Coach and General Manager of the Pee Dee Cyclones Professional Hockey Team, has announced that Guy St. Vincent has agreed to terms for the upcoming 2006-07 season. Coach Richards is thrilled about St. Vincent coming to the Pee Dee; "We're fortunate to be able to get a goalie of Guy's caliber. He has played at a higher-level for the past two years, so we are looking for him to be our number one goalie."

St. Vincent, the 6'-2" 190 lb. twenty-three year old, comes to the Cyclones from the CHL's Memphis RiverKings. During the 2005-06 season with Memphis, St. Vincent played in a total of 41 games and made 1,007 saves (0.890%). The Ste. Anne, Manitoba native has played much of his career in the CHL, playing also for the New Mexico Scorpions.
