August 1, 2006 - SPHL (SPHL)
Twin City Cyclones News Release

Mark Richards, Head Coach and General Manager of the SPHL's Pee Dee Cyclones, has announced that Chris Rebernik has agreed to terms to join the Cyclones for the 2006-2007 season.

Coach Richards is excited about Rebernik's decision to come to the Pee Dee; "We were glad that Chris chose to become a part of the Cyclones' family. He was heavily pursued by many other teams in the SPHL and other leagues."

Rebernik, the twenty-one year old center from Toronto, Canada, has played most of his career with Mississauga Chargers of the OPJHL (Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League). He was selected to be the captain of the Chargers in 2004 and held the title for two years. Last season, he played in 38 games with Mississauga and posted 69 points. Rebernik was among the top 15 leaders in scoring in the OPJHL for the past two years.
