Cyclones Increase Winning Streak to Five
For the first contest of the week, the Cyclones traveled to Richmond Wednesday night in hopes of securing another win, their fifth in a row. Although the game was closely contested, Twin City came out on top in overtime, 4-3.
Scoring for the Cyclones: Josh Piro, Michael Richard, Donald Melnyk, and Shane Wagner had the game-winning goal in overtime. Kevin Druce recorded 36 saves.
Twin City will be back in action this Friday, January 30, for Ruff in the Rink/Pet Adoption Night as they play host to the Fayetteville FireAntz. Fans can bring your dogs to the game for only $2 extra with proceeds going to animal rescue charities. Limit one dog per fan and you must sit in sections 10-14 with your pets! Be sure to have your furry friends on a leash for the duration of their stay! Game time is set for 7:30PM at the LJVM Coliseum Annex.
