Cyclones Announce Opening Day Roster

The wait is over. The Pee Dee Cyclones begin play in the Southern Professional Hockey League this weekend with back to back games in Fayetteville, NC against the Fayetteville Fire Antz. Game time on Friday & Saturday at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville is 7:30PM each night. The two games mark the beginning of the season long "I-95 Press Box Challenge Cup" series between the two teams.
Cyclones Head Coach Mark Richards has announced his opening day roster. The 17 man roster features long-time Pee Dee favorite Eric Naud who has been designated the team's first captain. The roster also features seven players who played in the SPHL (Southern Professional Hockey League) last year and three players who spent time in the CHL (Central Hockey League) & UHL (United Hockey League).

Cyclones Tickets Notes: * Cyclones season ticket holders can pick-up their season tickets at the Pee Dee Cyclones office located inside the Florence Civic Center on the lower level of the building. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5:30PM.
* Individual game tickets remain on sale at the Florence Civic Center for the Cyclones Home Opening Weekend. A reminder of the "Opening Weekend Special" sponsored by the Florence Morning News. All 200 & 400 level tickets are only $5.00 when purchased by the end of business on October 27th.
*Cyclones Season Tickets remain on sale at the Cyclones office located on the lower level of the Florence Civic Center. $10.00 from every season ticket sold before the opening weekend will be donated to the American Red Cross to benefit the hurricane victims from this past summer.
The Cyclones Home Opening Weekend at the Florence Civic Center is Friday, October 28th and Saturday, October 29th. On Friday, October 28th the world famous "Zooperstars" will perform and the first 2500 in attendance will receive free magnetic schedules sponsored by SCE&G. On Saturday, October 29th their will be a Halloween Costume Contest and the first 2500 fans will receive free Cyclones pennants. And a post-game "Skate with the Cyclones" will take place following the game. Season tickets for the Pee Dee Cyclones 2005-06 inaugural season at the Florence Civic Center are on sale at the Cyclones office or by calling 843-432-1234.
