A.J. Gale Signs for Second Season
Forward A.J. Gale returns to the ice for his second season with the Denver Cutthroats this fall. His speed on the ice and ability to find the net makes him a key component to the Cutthroats offense. Gale was the leading scorer for the Cutthroats during the inaugural season with 46 goals and 84 points in 64 games.
"A.J. is one of the more potent offensive forwards in the Central Hockey League," said Denver Cutthroats Assistant Coach Brad Smyth. "His combination of speed and ability to shoot the puck will continue to help us during the upcoming season." Stay tuned as the Cutthroats continue to build the 2013-14 roster.
Cutthroats Receive Three CHL Awards
The Denver Cutthroats took home three awards from the CHL's 18th annual âSummer Conference' banquet on Friday, July 19. Cutthroats Governor Greg Smith was named the winner of the Kozuback Award, named in recognition of former CHL President Rick Kozuback. The team was also awarded Merchandising Franchise and New Media Franchise of the year.
