HIGHLIGHTS: The Cutters continue to struggle as they lost their 4th straight game Monday night to Auburn 6-4. CF Brad Corley tried to get Williamsport going when he hit a solo home run in the fourth inning to give the Cutters a 2-1 lead they could not hold. 2B John Santiago went 4 for 4 with 3 singles, 1 double, and 1 RBI in the losing effort. RHP Joe Bauserman started and went 5.0 innings, giving up 7 hits, 3 runs, only 1 of which was earned, and struck out 2. The loss keeps the Cutters 3 games behind Staten Island for the lead in the McNamara Division and ý game behind the Lowell Spinners in the wild card playoff race. The two teams meet again Tuesday night at Bowman Field when the Crosscutters play game 3 of a 9 game homestand.
