Altoona Curve News Release

(ALTOONA, PA) – The Altoona Curve has announced home game times for the 2005 season. After a season-opening seven-game road trip to Reading and Trenton, the Curve will open its 71-game home schedule at Blair County Ballpark on Thursday, April 14th at 6:35 p.m. against the Erie SeaWolves (Detroit Tigers).

Among the highlights of the 2004 schedule will be the return of the Curve's popular 6:05 p.m. Sunday night start times. Beginning May 29th, the club's final eight Sunday home games will begin at 6:05 p.m. and feature a post-game fireworks show each night. As was the case in 2004, the first three Sunday home contests (April 17 vs, Erie, May 1 vs. Trenton & May 15 vs. New Hampshire) will begin at 3:05 p.m.

Once again, standard game times will remain 6:35 p.m. from the beginning of the season until Memorial Day weekend and 7:05 p.m. through the end of the regular season; however, there will be several exceptions throughout the season. Among the prominent exceptions will be a trio of 5:05 p.m. Saturday start times on April 16 vs. Erie, May 1 vs. Trenton and May 15 vs. New Hampshire.

Other exceptions to standard game times will include four 10:35 a.m. "School Kids Day" games on May 5 vs. Reading, May 11 vs. Harrisburg and May 25-26 vs. Norwich. The Curve will also play Noon games on Memorial Day (May 30) vs. Reading, July 11 vs. Harrisburg and July 28 vs. Binghamton.

Individual game tickets will go on sale in early March, but fans can currently purchase season tickets, mini-plans, flex books and group outings for the 2005 season by calling the Curve at (814) 943-5400 or toll-free at 1-877-99-CURVE.
