
Crystal Palace Baltimore To Visit Krenzler Saturday

The Cleveland City Stars host Crystal Palace Baltimore on Saturday at 7 pm in a pivotal match up in the USL-2 table.
Cleveland enters the contest 7-2-5 with 26 points which is good for a second place tie with Richmond. The top two teams in the USL-2 receive byes during the first round of the playoffs, magnifying the importance of the stretch run for the City Stars.
Crystal Palace Baltimore enters the match tied for fourth place with a record of 7-3-1 and 22 points. CPB has three games in hand on the top three teams in the league.
In the season's previous match between the two sides, Cleveland dropped a hard fought 2-1 decision. Dana McGregor scored off an assist from Adriano Sella in the contest. The young series between the 2007 expansion cousins is deadlocked at 1-1-1 with the City Stars winning the inaugural match 4-0 last season at CPB before drawing 1-1 in the return match at Krenzler Stadium.
Saturday will feature great give-aways and contests, including Charter One seat cushions to the first 300 fans in attendance and the popular Shoot-on-Mascot halftime promotion. Every child at Krenzler Stadium is welcome onto the field at halftime to take a shot on goal with Crocodinho as the keeper.
Saturday will also feature an exciting merchandise special. Fans will receive a free raffle ticket with each purchase of a youth item at the CCS team shop. The raffle tickets enter you into a contest to win great prizes including VIP for a day featuring Audi Q7 transport to the game, VIP tickets for kids and one adult, meet and greet with City Stars players and more.
The City Stars will be busy away from Krenzler Stadium on the 12th as well. The team is hosting a free game day clinic sponsored by University Hospitals from 10 am to 12 pm at the Avon Lake Providence Church. The clinic will feature instructions and demonstrations from City Stars players and a special CCS "yard sale" featuring great collectable items and merchandise from the team.
