
Crush sign three free agents

DENVER - The Colorado Crush announced today the addition of three rookie free agents. The Crush have signed fullback Terrell Browden and defensive linemen Quinn Dorsey and Justin Parrish. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
BROWDEN (6-3, 265, Southern Miss) makes the transition to AFL after playing last season with the af2 Birmingham Steeldogs. He appeared in 15 games for the Steeldogs as a fullback/ linebacker, recording 33 rushes for 115 yards and six touchdowns and adding 10 receptions for 92 yards and two scores. On defense for Birmingham, collared 25.5 tackles, six pass break-ups, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, one sack and two blocked kicks. Browden played at Southern Mississippi from 2000-2003, where he named Second Team All-Conference-USA as a senior.
DORSEY (6-4, 260, Oregon) returns home to Denver, where he was a three-year starter at Manual High School and earned first-team all-city and honorable mention all-state honors as a senior. Signed as an undrafted rookie free agent with the New England Patriots in 2004, he has three years of NFL experience on the practice squads for the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans.
PARRISH (6-2, 248, Kent State) joins the Crush after a highly productive collegiate career as a linebacker. A First Team all Mid-American Conference selection as a senior, he left as the Golden Flashes all-time career leader in sacks with 27.5 and the school's single-season record holder in tackles for loss with 20.5. In 2004 as a junior, Parrish recorded one of the best seasons in school history registering 14.5 quarterback sacks (second in the MAC and fourth nationally), 56 tackles and 17 tackles for loss, while garnering Second-Team all Mid-American Conference honors.
The Colorado Crush concluded the 2006 season capturing their second consecutive Central Division title and finished the regular season with a team-best tying 11-5 record.
