DENVER - The 2005 ArenaBowl Champion Colorado Crush will begin defense of their AFL championship when they officially open their 2006 training camp on Wednesday, January 4th. The Crush will conduct all their 2006 training camp practices at Five Star Stadium in Thornton.
With 22 players returning from the Crush's championship team, competition in camp will be among the club's strongest ever. The Colorado Crush's complete 2006 training camp roster is attached.
"Last season was a remarkable year for our club, but now we are starting a new one with the same goal of winning a championship," said Head Coach Mike Dailey. "I know this team will be as hungry as ever to repeat as champions because these players do not want anyone else to have that same feeling they felt last June. Ever game this season will be important and we will need to be as focused and prepared as ever, so I am looking forward to a hard working and competitive camp."
