
Crunch Announce Details of Crunch Foundation Facebook Contest to Benefit a CNY Non-Profit

Syracuse, NY (February 2, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch and the Crunch Foundation, the club's charitable arm, announced today the details of the Crunch Foundation Facebook Contest, which is being held in conjunction with the Syracuse Crunch vs. Rochester Americans Facebook Faceoff Contest.
Members of Central New York non-profit organizations and fans may visit the Syracuse Crunch's official Facebook page to nominate a non-profit organization for the chance to receive a $500 donation from the Crunch Foundation and twenty-five (25) tickets to a remaining Crunch home game. Those who submit a nomination must 'LIKE' the Crunch's official Facebook page for their nomination to be eligible.
From now through 12 p.m. on February 19, individuals who would like to nominate a Central New York non-profit organization for the Crunch Foundation Facebook Contest should visit www.facebook.com/syracusecrunch. To submit a nomination, first 'LIKE' the Crunch's official Facebook page, then click the 'DISCUSSIONS' tab and review the topic entitled 'Crunch Foundation Facebook Contest Rules and Regulations.'
One winning non-profit organization in the Central New York area will be selected by a panel of Crunch players to receive $500 and twenty-five (25) tickets to a remaining Crunch home game. The winning non-profit organization will be announced on Monday, February 24 on the Crunch's official Facebook page.
Eligible non-profit organizations must be located in the Central New York region and must be able to verify official 501(c)(3) status.
The Crunch travel to Adirondack on Friday, February 4 before returning home to face Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
