Crawdads Fall to Lakewood 3-0

Hickory, NC - The Crawdads dropped game three against the Lakewood BlueClaws 3-0 on Sunday evening.

'Dads starter Noah Bremer kept the BlueClaws scoreless through four innings before allowing a two run double with two outs in the fifth. Bremer's evening was finished following the double. He finished with four and two thirds innings pitched and seven hits allowed. He walked two and struck out two.

The BlueClaws added to their lead in the sixth with a run off reliever Josh Advocate.

The 'Dads offense managed just five base runners in the loss. Miguel Aparicio singled to right in the third inning and stole his fourth base of the season. Yohel Pozo also singled in the eighth.

The series will conclude tomorrow with a game at noon. The Crawdads will have their ERA leader Tyler Phillips on the mound as they try to even the series against Lakewood.
