
Cramarossa and O'Brien Reassigned to Utah

NORFOLK, VA -- The Norfolk Admirals announced today that forward Joseph Cramarossa and defenseman Andrew O'Brien have been reassigned by the Anaheim Ducks to the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL.
Cramarossa, 21, heads to Utah having posted four points (1g, 3a), 45 penalty minutes, and a minus-6 rating in 45 games played with the Admirals this season. The 6-1, 192-pound center totaled 138 points (51g, 87a) during his four-year career in the Ontario Hockey League (2009-2013) split between Mississauga St. Michael's Majors and the Belleville Bulls. The Toronto, Ontario native was selected by Anaheim in the third round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
O'Brien, 21, returns to Utah where he has gone scoreless with 31 penalty minutes and a minus-2 rating in ten games this season.. The 6-4, 219-pound blueliner is scoreless with four penalty minutes in four appearances with the Admirals this season. The first-year pro finished his career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with 57 points (11g, 46a), 241 penalty minutes, and a +12 rating split between the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and the Chicoutimi Sagueneens from 2010-2013. He was selected by Anaheim in the fourth-round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
The Admirals continue their homestand on Friday and Saturday as they play host to the top-seeded Manchester Monarchs. Friday's game is American Cancer Society Night and is set for a 7:30 p.m. start time, while Saturday's game begins at 7:15 p.m. Come early on Saturday and watch ODU's hockey team battle Northern Virginia Community College at 2:00 p.m. Free admission with purchase of Admirals game ticket.
