Coyotes Sign Dahlbeck and Martinook

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed defenseman Klas Dahlbeck to a one-year, two-way contract and forward Jordan Martinook to a two-year, two-way contract. As per club policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

The 24-year-old Dahlbeck registered 1-3-4 and eight penalty minutes (PIM) in 23 games with the Coyotes and Chicago Blackhawks in 2014-15. The 6-foot-3, 207-pound native of Katrineholm, Sweden also recorded 4-7-11 and 35 PIM in 52 games with the Portland Pirates and Rockford IceHogs. Dahlbeck was originally drafted by the Blackhawks in the third round (79th overall) in the 2011 Entry Draft.

The 22-year-old Martinook recorded 0-1-1 in eight games with the Coyotes in 2014-15. The 6-foot, 202-pound native of Brandon, Manitoba also collected 15-28-43 and 41 PIM in 62 games with the Pirates. Martinook was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (58th overall) in the 2012 Entry Draft.
