Raleigh, NC (August 26, 2002) In a 108-0 unanimous vote of the General Assembly, the North Carolina House of Representatives passed a bill to proclaim August 26, 2002 "Carolina Courage Day" in the state of North Carolina in recognition of the team's storybook season and outstanding record of community service. The Courage players and coaching staff looked on from the galley as the House bill was introduced and overwhelming approved.
