YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO – Youngstown SteelHound General Manager George Manias announced today that the team has partnered with the Country Inn & Suites Youngstown West making the newly constructed location the "Official Hotel" of the SteelHounds.

The Country Inn & Suites Youngstown West is located on Route 46 in Austintown and is owned by Meander Hospitality Management, which also owns and operates the Hampton Inn Youngstown West, Best Western Meander Inn and Winston's Tavern.

SteelHound training camp will utilize the Best Western Meander Inn as the host hotel for the preseason events and Winston's Tavern will host several promotions and events with the SteelHounds.

"I am very excited and proud to announce that the SteelHounds have partnered with the Country Inn & Suites and Meander Hospitality Management, to be our official and preferred host hotel," said Manias. "When visiting teams come to Youngstown, I am confident that all of their accommodation needs will be met and exceeded. The teams that are traveling to Youngstown will be making long journeys and covering a lot of real estate to compete against us, so I want to make sure they are well taken care of when they arrive and create a great experience for them in our city...in other words, I don't want any excuses when we beat them!"

The SteelHounds will compete in the Central Hockey League this fall and will play 32 games in the new Youngstown Convocation Center.

"It couldn't be a better fit," said Sheree Moore, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Meander Hospitality Management. "Two new franchises coming together to form a partnership in effort to give this Valley the recognition that it deserves. The Country Inn & Suites Youngstown West is the perfect example of what a home away from home should feel like. Complete with all of the modern technologies coupled with the comforts of a residential home, makes our hotel the ultimate choice for Youngstown SteelHounds guests and fans alike."
