Kalamazoo Wings News Release
The Kalamazoo Wings and Reading Royals will be back at it tonight, as the team's hit the Sovereign Center ice for game two of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Winning last night 8-3, Kalamazoo leads the best-of-seven series one game to none.
Receiving points from 11 players in the last night's victory, the K-Wings rolled to a five-goal victory and recorded their second highest playoff goal total in the past four seasons. The win extends the K-Wings playoff winning streak to four games.
In a similar situation as their last playoff series, the Royals enter game two looking to even up the series. In the conference Quarterfinals, Reading dropped game one, before rattling off three straight victories to eliminate the Cincinnati Cyclones from the postseason.

Lighting the Lamp
Kalamazoo's eight-goal outburst was the most in these playoffs by the K-Wings. The eight-goal recorded was also the most in the playoffs by the K-Wings since the 2005-06 season, when Kalamazoo defeated the Motor City Mechanics 9-3 on April 23, 2006 in the United Hockey League postseason.
Good Things Come In Threes
Forward Justin Taylor has found that back of the net in the playoffs. Taylor, who is tied with Trent Daavettila, Kory Karlander and Brandon Svendsen for the team-lead in goals (3) scored, is on a three-game goal streak.
Spreading the Wealth
So far this postseason, the K-Wings have received scoring from a number of players. Entering game two of conference semi-finals, Kalamazoo has received points from 18 of the 19 skaters they have used.
