Calgary Stampeders News Release
Calgary Stampeders fullback Rob Cote will be put to the test this weekend when he appears on CBC's Test the Nation: IQ. The program airs live on Jan. 24 at 8 p.m.
"This is going to be a lot of fun," said Cote. "I'm interested to see how our team will stack up against some of these other groups on Sunday. I've taken a couple of the practice tests and I'm ready to go."
Hosted by George Stroumboulopoulos, the IQ challenge tests the smarts of 180 in-studio team members. Six teams - athletes, twins, politicians, atheists, believers and nerds - will battle against each other.
Cote will be joined in the athletes group by several other Canadian Football League players as well as local and national sports icons.
