
Corvallis Outfielder Briley Knight Named WCL MVP; Eight Knights Earn First-Team All-WCL Honors

University of Utah slugger Briley Knight of the Corvallis Knights was named the West Coast League's Most Valuable Player for the 2019 season. He is only the second Knights' player to earn WCL MVP honors, the other was Richie Jimenez who earned the award in 2009.

Your Corvallis Knights were named the Summer Collegiate Team of the Year by Perfect Game USA, the world's largest baseball scouting service. This is the first time the Knights have been named Summer Collegiate Baseball Team of the Year, and the first time a West Coast League team has earned this prestigious #1 national ranking. Today, several Knights were recognized for outstanding seasons as the league unveiled its season-ending awards and all-league teams. Congrats to all our honorees!

Second-Team All-WCL - Jackson Arnsdorf (starting pitcher) and David Watson (starting pitcher)
Honorable Mention - Brodie Cooper-Vassalakis (starting pitcher), Tim Josten (starting pitcher) and Connor Knutson (relief pitcher)
