It's now less than two months until opening day, which this summer is set for Friday, June 2 against the Cowlitz Black Bears in Longview, Wash.

Season tickets for our 11th season at Goss Stadium are on sale now. You can reserve your seat for all 32 home dates and all three Fireworks Nights, set for June 24, July 3 and August 5,.

The Knights are the defending West Coast League champions. We kick-off our home campaign on Wednesday, June 7th, with a 10 a.m. non-league game against the Portland Sea Dogs. It's our sixth annual Science, Engineering & Art Day event at Goss Stadium.

Nine Knights on MLB opening-day rosters
Nine alums of the Aloha/Corvallis Knights were on major-league rosters at the start of the season, an all-time high.
Our big-league honor roll features Colorado pitcher Tyler Anderson; Tampa Bay pitcher Matt Andriese; Detroit pitcher Matt Boyd; Tampa Bay infielder Matt Duffy; Seattle outfielder Mitch Haniger; Los Angeles Angels pitcher Bud Norris; Seattle pitcher Marc Rzepczynski; Pittsburgh catcher Chris Stewart, and Milwaukee catcher Andrew Susac.

Former Knights pitcher Chris Burkholder of Dartmouth and slugger Roman Garcia of San Diego having huge senior seasons
2016 WCL postseason heroes Chris Burkholder and Roman Garcia are shining for their respective college programs in their final seasons. Burkholder has recorded 7 saves for the 18-12 Big Green (8-4 in the Ivy League). The senior has posted a 2.38 ERA and has struck out 25 over 22.2 innings pitched.
Garcia is hitting .295 with 14 doubles, 8 home runs and 31 RBIs for the 25-9 Toreros, who sit atop the standings of the WCC with a 12-3 mark.
Pac-12 honors Nick Madrigal, KJ Harrison
Alums Nick Madrigal (2015) and KJ Harrison (2015) have each earned Player of the Week honors from the Pacific-12 Conference. Madrigal was honored for March 27-April 2; Harrison was cited for March 20-26 and for March 13-19.
Madrigal also made the midseason watch list for the Golden Spikes Award, which goes to the top player in college baseball.
Former broadcaster Jason Schwartz aiming high
Former Knights' play-by-play broadcaster Jason Schwartz (2010) began his sixth season with the Lancaster JetHawks of the California League this month. The versatile Schwartz still has big-league dreams and continues to grind away to reach his goal. Please click here for more on that story.
Incoming pitcher Cunningham, returnee Howell earn POTW honors
Linfield sophomore lefty pitcher Cason Cunningham, a 2017 Knight-to-be from Sheldon High in Eugene, was named the Northwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for March 6-12 for pitching his second career complete game, a 7-2 win over Puget Sound on March 12. He stuck out 15 of the 33 batters he faced to earn the win while only allowing five hits, two walks and two earned runs.
Dixie State redshirt junior pitcher Tanner Howell, a 2016 Knight who will return this summer, was named the PacWest Conference Pitcher of the Week for March 6-12 for saving two of DSU's three wins over Concordia.
Matt Hague back in the USA
Former Aloha Knights star Matt Hague (2005) is playing in the United States again after spending the 2016 season in Japan. He's on the Rochester Red Wings, Minnesota's affiliate in the triple-A International League.

Alumni watch:
The San Francisco Giants sent pitcher Josh Osich (2008) to triple-A Sacramento. The Chicago White Sox returned first baseman Danny Hayes (2010) to triple-A Charlotte. Former play-by-play broadcaster Alex Kuhn (2014) was promoted to co-host of The Afternoon Players Club talk show on station KGYM in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It runs weekdays from 2-4 p.m. (PDT). The Texas Rangers released utility Alex Burg, the MVP of our 2008 WCL champions.The Cleveland Indians released outfielder David Armendariz, a star on our 2011 WCL champions.
