Conquest Set to Stuff-A-Bus for Holidays

ALBANY, NY – The 2002 Northeast Division Champions Albany ConQuest will be teaming up with The River 99.5 FM and Clifton Park Center in an effort to collect holiday gifts for the kids in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program of the Capital Region, which encompasses the counties of Rensselear, Troy, Albany and Schenectady.

The Conquest players, dance team, staff and their mighty mascot "Kid Quest", will be outside the Hoyts Cinema at Clifton Park Center, Saturday, December 14th from 10:00AM until 6:00PM. The purpose of the Stuff-A-Bus is to collect unwrapped Christmas presents for kids 6-12 years old and donate them to the Big Brothers Big Sisters. Any person who donates a gift, which should be of a $10 minimum value, will receive 250 River Rewards Points from 99.5 FM, and will be entered to win a pair of 2003 Conquest season tickets.

The Albany Conquest "Quest Kids" program was recognized as the Best Community Relations Program in the entire af2 last season. So far this off-season, the "Quest Kids" have been to over 20 schools and delivered the message of wellness and hard work to over one thousand children.
