Conquest Return Broadcasts To 88.3 FM The SAINT

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Conquest of arenafootball2 today announced that they have reached an agreement with Siena College radio station WVCR-FM (88.3) The SAINT to broadcast the club's games during the 2008 season. This will mark the second consecutive season that the Conquest games will air on WVCR-FM.
The Conquests' seventh arenafootball2 season kicks off on Saturday, March 29th as they take on the Mahoning Valley Thunder in a 7:05 pm kick-off at the Chevrolet Centre in Youngstown, Ohio. Broadcaster Jacob VanRyn will provide all the play-by-play live on WVCR-FM as the Conquest look to start off their season with a road win against their division rival, the Thunder.
WVCR-FM (88.3) serves the Capital Region of New York Station with 35,000 watts of commercial free power 24 hours a day, seven days a week. WVCR-FM (88.3) is owned and operated by Siena College and is the fifth ranked college station in the nation.
Albany River Rats play-by-play broadcaster Owen Newkirk will serve as the Conquest's regular radio announcer once the River Rats season comes to a close.
The Conquest begin the 2008 regular season on the road at the Mahoning Valley Thunder on Saturday, March 29th at 7:05 pm. After a bye week in Week 2, Albany's home opener will be on Sunday, April 13th at 4:00 pm against the Peoria Pirates at the Times Union Center.
