Conquest Get Pugnacious

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Conquest and Pugnacious Promotions announced today a joint event at the team's block party this Friday evening. The Conquest take on the Manchester Wolves in a 7:00pm kick-off at the Times Union Center with the pre-game block party festivities starting at 5:30pm. The pre-game activities will also include a live performance from Second Nature, a Bounce House, food, drinks and an appearance by the Total Tan Treasures.

The Albany and Schenectady Boxing Gyms will have amateur fighters participate in sparring sessions and jump rope demonstrations among the activities. Local Heavyweight Shannon Miller will lead a group of professional and MMA fighters in a meet-n-greet session plus fans will have the opportunity to win tickets to the upcoming "Night of Future Champions" event at the Saratoga Springs City Center, which will be broadcast on ESPN Network.

Fans will be treated to special concession stand offers of $1 Hot Dogs and Soda throughout the game. All patrons are also encouraged to stay after the game for the post-game autograph session on the field with the players before heading over to Broadway Joe's of Albany for the official Conquest Post-Game Party.

The Conquest close out the 2008 regular season with Casino Night on Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Times Union Center. Kick off is scheduled for 7:00 pm when the Conquest take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers.
