Complete Schedule Set for Berry Conference Finals

Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - After lengthy and productive discussions with the management teams of SMG, the Allen Americans and the Central Hockey League, the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs are pleased to announce a complete schedule for the best-of-seven Berry Conference Finals. The series will feature a pair of Mudbugs home games, which are scheduled for Friday, May 6 (Game 4) and Sunday, May 8 (Game 5) at the CenturyTel Center.
Those back-to-back games in Bossier City will follow the first three games of the series in Allen, Texas starting with Game 1 on Friday and continuing with Games 2 and 3 on Sunday, May 1 and Wednesday, May 4. If necessary, the series would then return to the Allen Event Center for Games 6 and 7 on Tuesday, May 10 and Wednesday, May 11.
"I'm really glad this is over and everyone worked together so we can get back to the business of playing hockey and winning games," said Mudbugs Owner Tommy Scott. "Under the circumstances we have worked together to provide the best opportunity for our fans, supporters and the community to take part in this exciting playoff series. We appreciate the efforts of the Administration of the City of Bossier and representatives of SMG in working towards this resolution."
For Game 4 on Friday, May 6, SMG will be providing 500 free tickets, which will be available to fans on a first-come, first-serve basis at the CenturyTel Center main box office (limit four tickets per person).
Fans will also have the opportunity at that game to make donations to the Bossier Council on Aging to aid in the Meals on Wheels program to seniors in Bossier Parish. SMG and the Mudbugs will combine to match up to $1,000 in donations.
Then for Game 5 of the series (if necessary) on the afternoon of Sunday, May 8, the Mudbugs, SMG and the City of Bossier will offer a free public skating session following the game against the Americans!

The series will determine which club represents the Berry Conference in the Ray Miron President's Cup Finals: the second place Mudbugs or the top-seeded Americans. The winner will then face the victor of the Turner Conference Finals between the Rapid City Rush and Colorado Eagles for the 2011 CHL Championship.
