
Comets Sign Kiesha Brown

HOUSTON - The Houston Comets announced today that the team has signed guard Kiesha Brown to a seven-day contract. The Comets also announced that the team has placed forward Tina Thompson on the injured list.
Brown (5-10, Georgia '01) has averaged 2.7 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists in 73 career games with the Washington Mystics. She played in two games this season with Washington, recording two points and a pair of steals in 14 minutes of action. Brown then spent time on the injured list before being waived by the Mystics on June 23, 2005. A former Georgia standout, Brown originally joined Washington on April 25, 2002, through the WNBA free agency system.
