Columbus Crew SC Hosts Nashville SC Tomorrow in Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals Match

COLUMBUS - Columbus Crew SC (three seed) hosts Nashville SC (seven seed) tomorrow, Sunday, November 29 for a nationally-televised Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals match [8:00 p.m. ET / ESPN, ESPN Deportes, ESPN App (stream) / 97.1 The Fan & 971TheFan.com (English), ColumbusCrewSC.com (Spanish)].

Tomorrow's match also airs locally on the radio in English on 97.1 The Fan and streaming online via "Listen Live" at 971TheFan.com, featuring Chris Doran broadcasting the contest. The club's official website, ColumbusCrewSC.com, is set to stream the Spanish-language audio broadcast with Juan Valladares behind the microphone.

The Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Semifinals match - a single-elimination contest - on Sunday is set to be the first-ever postseason match between Crew SC and Nashville SC, as NSC is in their first season in MLS as an expansion club. The two teams previously met in MLS regular-season action earlier this year (September 19), with the Black & Gold securing a 2-0 shutout at home, with goals by Pedro Santos and Gyasi Zardes.

As was the set-up for the first postseason home contest, the Eastern Conference Semifinals contest at MAPFRE Stadium tomorrow will be played in front of only an extremely small number of family members and guests of the team (players, staff) in attendance. Applicable updates about any potential Audi MLS Cup Playoff matches at MAPFRE Stadium beyond this round will be communicated at a later date. The Club will follow the guidance of MLS and execute robust safety and sanitization protocols for players, staff and select friends and family at MAPFRE Stadium to ensure a safe continuation of the 2020 MLS postseason. No tailgating will be permitted in the MAPFRE Stadium parking lots.Crew SC has now advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals on 14 occasions out of its total 16 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs appearances in Club history. Notably, the Crew is in third place for most wins all-time (21) in the MLS Cup Playoffs, behind only the LA Galaxy (43) and D.C. United (29).
