Columbus Assigns Right Wing Stefan Legein

Syracuse, NY (April 15, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned right wing Stefan Legein to Syracuse.

Legein, 19, appeared in 30 games for Niagara (OHL) this season, registering 24 goals, 13 assists and 80 penalty minutes. He also appeared in 8 playoff games with Niagara, posting 6 goals, 9 assists and 15 penalty minutes.

A native of Oakville, Ontario, Legein was drafted by Columbus in the second round, 37th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
