Colts to Hold Annual Tryouts this Saturday

San Angelo, Texas---The Colts annual tryouts will be held at Foster Field this Saturday May 14. This is a great opportunity to play professional baseball in a great city for former major league player and manager Doc Edwards. The Colts have recently joined the North American League, which features teams all around the country, as well as internationally to showcase your talents.
Local and national players are welcome to attend. Each year the Colts have had players make the team through these tryouts. This is your chance to play professional baseball and is the only way to make the ball club. Those looking to participate must fill out a form before the tryout, which can be done by coming by the Colts office between 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday or by phone for $25. Participants may also fill out their forms on the day of the tryout at a cost of $30. However, you must be here for signups at 8am and the tryouts will begin promptly at 9am. The league features 10 teams with an Eastern and Western Division, with five teams in each. The two best teams from each division will qualify for the playoffs. The four playoff squads will battle it out on a neutral site to determine the league's overall champion. After the playoffs conclude the best players will be selected for a prospect game on September 18, in order to showcase the league top players for scouts.
