
Colts Sign Rookie Pitcher

San Angelo, Texas --- The San Angelo Colts announced Thursday they have signed pitcher Ryan Hanna to their spring training roster.
Hanna is entering his first professional season after playing four years (2006-09) at Division I Lafayette College. There he compiled a 7-5 record with a 6.14 earned-run average in 40 games and 21 starts. As a senior in 2009, Hanna went 6-3 in 19 games and 13 starts.
Hanna, 25, is a righty from Tucson, Ariz. He is one of 14 pitchers invited to spring training who are competing for a spot on the Opening Night roster. Opening Night at Foster Field is May 23 at 7:05 p.m. against the McAllen Thunder.
The San Angelo Colts are a member of United League Baseball who will play their 13th season in 2012. Season ticket plans are on sale now, and available at the Colts' front office at Foster Field.
