San Angelo Colts News Release

SAN ANGELO, Texas - For the first time all season, the San Angelo Colts will have a game rained out at Foster Field, with steady rain all day and water on the field leading to the season finale against the Edinburg Coyotes being cancelled. San Angelo had played on all of its previous 44 dates at home this season, with one game on August 1 called after seven innings because of bad weather.

The game will not be made up, but tickets for the August 17 game can be used in either of the Colts' two first playoff games, against the Alexandria Aces on Monday, August 18 and Tuesday, August 19. Both of those games are at 7:05 p.m.

The postgame fireworks show, sponsored by Adobe Signs & T-Shirts and KLST, will be held on Monday after Game 1 of the playoffs, while the Fan Appreciation Night ceremonies will take place on Tuesday for Game 2.

.

The Colts begin their quest for their first United League championship with a best-of-three series against the two-time defending champion Alexandria Aces. All three games will be at Foster Field, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, if necessary. Advertising, ticket, and group information are available by calling the box office at (325) 942-6587. All Colts games are broadcast live on "Cool 100" - KCLL 100.1 FM and online at the Colts' official website, www.sanangelocolts.com, which is updated daily with the latest team news.
