
Colts Defenceman Honoured By League

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that Alex Pietrangelo has been named the defenceman of the month for the month of March.
Pietrangelo and the Barrie Colts made it through the first round of the OHL playoffs with ease, defeating the Subdury Wolves in four straight games.
The 6'4" resident of King City leads all defenceman in scoring in the post-season with one goal and seven assists for eight points. He has had two games with at least three assists and added his first goal in Sudbury in game four of the series.
The St. Louis Blues draft pick had seven points in six regular season games leading into the playoffs, and recorded 29 points in 25 regular season games this year.
Pietrangelo and the Colts host the Brampton Battalion in game one of their Eastern Conference second round series tonight at the Barrie Molson Centre at 7:30 p.m.
