Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice is proud to announce the signings of four new players to the Ice Organization. The players are Mychal Sisson, Kyle Kaiser, Moses Ellis, and Gordon "Gordy" Witte.

Sisson is a 5'11", 230 lb. linebacker from Colorado State University, who was rated as the 62 nd best outside linebacker prospect in the 2012 draft class. Sisson will be returning to Fort Collins, where he was a force for four straight years; leaving as one of the best linebackers in Colorado State Football history. During his four seasons at CSU, Sisson played in 42 games, starting in 38 of those contests. In his four seasons, Sisson accumulated 319 tackles, 42 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, 6 fumbles recovered, 2 interceptions, and 11 pass break-ups. During the final game of his college career, Sisson jumped into the Top-10 on the Rams' all-time tackles list. Sisson's accolades don't stop there as throughout his career, Sisson was named Consensus Freshman All-American, Mountain West Newcomer of the Year, Honorable Mention All-MWC, Second Team All-MWC, and Consensus Preseason All-MWC. Following his standout career at Colorado State, Sisson earned an opportunity with the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL.

Kaiser is a 6'0", 185 lb. wide receiver from The University of Nebraska-Kearney. Kaiser spent his entire collegiate career at UNK, playing in 45 games and accumulating 152 receptions, 3,355 receiving yards, 38 receiving touchdowns, and 1,478 return yards. In his senior season alone, Kaiser had 50 receptions for 1,102 yards and 12 touchdowns. Kaiser's consistency and dominance made him one of the most prolific receivers in Nebraska-Kearney history. When all was said and done, Kaiser left Nebraska-Kearney with his name all over the record books including being second all-time in receiving yards, third in yards per game, fourth in receptions, second in touchdowns, and third in yards per catch. Kaiser received plenty of recognition throughout his career including being named Honorable Mention All-American (two times), Preseason All-American, First Team All-Central Region, and First Team All-RMAC (three times). Maybe one of Kaiser's most prestigious recognitions was being named the only wide receiver to the 2010 Harlon Hill Finalists List. Kaiser played his high school football in Broomfield, CO; starring at Broomfield High School (about an hour south of Fort Collins).

Ellis is a 5'9", 185 lb. defensive back from Prairie View A&M University, who was rated as the 64 th best corner back prospect in the 2012 draft class. During his four seasons at Prairie View, Ellis played in 31 games; accumulating 97 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 25 pass break-ups, 2 forced fumbles, 10 interceptions, and 1 touchdown. Ellis burst onto the scene in his junior season with his team leading 8 interceptions; leading to numerous honors following his junior season and heading into his senior campaign. Ellis' 8 interceptions and 22 pass break-ups in his junior season were both tops in the FCS, eventually landing him on the Walter Camp First Team All-American list. The honors didn't stop there as Ellis was also named Preseason SWAC Defensive Player of the Year and 1 st Team All-SWAC (two times). Though teams typically avoided throwing towards Ellis his senior season, he was still named an HBCU All-Star and was invited to the 2012 HBCU All-Star Game, which consists of the best players from the Historically Black Colleges & Universities.

Witte is a 6'5", 290 lb. defensive lineman from Appalachian State University, who was rated as the 131 st best defensive tackle prospect in the 2012 draft class. Witte spent his entire collegiate career at Appalachian State, playing in 52 games and accumulating 42 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 2 pass break-ups, and 5 quarterback hurries. Witte played a major role in every season at Appalachian State, serving as a key cog in a defense that helped lead Appalachian State to 53 wins, 5 playoff appearances, and 1 national championship. Following a very productive and consistent career at Appalachian State, Witte was invited to camp with the New Orleans Saints of the NFL. Witte was seen as a player that had the prototypical size of an NFL defensive lineman and with him playing for such a dominant program during his career, was seen as a good fit with the Saints. Witte will be joining former Appalachian State teammates Dan Wylie and Cedric Baker Boney when camp opens as both of his former teammates were signed earlier this offseason.
