
Colorado Lightning Connects with Longmont United Soccer Association

(Loveland, CO) - Colorado Lightning has announced that the first youth club to affiliate with the team is Longmont United Soccer Association. The Longmont United Soccer Association now has the option to have special events with Colorado Lightning team players to get the youth involved with the Professional Team.
Colorado Lightning will be providing clinics for the youth club and the Lightning's website will also link with Longmont United Soccer Association. Colorado Lightning and Longmont United Soccer Association will be working together for ticket sales as well. As a fundraiser, Longmont United Soccer Association will receive a portion of all the game tickets they sell.
Colorado Lightning will be arranging with Mike Schulz, the President of Longmont United Soccer Association, a special night for the youth club to participate at half time.
This affiliation with the youth will get young soccer players involved with the team on a personal basis to enhance the sport of soccer. Colorado Lightning looks forward to spending time connecting with the aspiring young soccer players in the area, starting with the season opener on Sunday, November 2nd at 7pm.

The top-tier of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) has four divisions: Western US, Eastern US, Canada, and Mexico. The Western Division includes the following teams: Stockton Cougars, CA., Wenatchee Fire, WA., Denver Dynamite, and Colorado Lightning. The Lightning play 16 regular season games in total, eight at home at the Budweiser Events Center. Team in the PASL he PASL will play six vs. six, including goalkeepers, on an indoor field 85 feet wide by 200 feet long during four 15 minute quarters (sudden death, if needed).
