Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice Indoor Football team had their preseason game and came out with the win, on and off the field. With sponsors Workwell and the Budweiser Events Center the Ice had 4,025 in attendance. Hosting the Pueblo Steel from the Colorado Football Conference the Ice won 100 - 7.
Loveland native Jesse Lewis (28) had a good showing in his first game for the Colorado Ice with two rushing touchdowns. Nick Truesdell (16) also had two touchdowns. Rookie quarterback T.J. Pryor (10) had two rushing touchdowns and multiple passing plays showing his range and speed.
Defensively the Ice was dominant with multiple Safety's, Sacks and Interceptions. Joe Thornton (1) had a safety, interception and a sack. Samuel Chester (93) and Chancy Aghayere (99) both had sacks as well.
Kicker, Phil Welch (9) is the player of the game for recovering his own kick off. Come on out to Runza of Loveland on Tuesday from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM for a meet and greet with Welch.

The next Colorado Ice home game is Friday, February 28th when they host the IFL Champion Sioux Falls Storm. The Ice and Storm split their home and away series last season. This game will be one not to miss.
