Colorado Ice Vs Allen Wranglers Game Preview

March 16, 2012 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Colorado Crush News Release

Fort Collins-The Colorado Ice Professional Indoor Football Team will take on the Allen Wranglers Sunday March 18, 2012 at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, Colorado.

The Ice will generate momentum for the rest of the 2012 season as they put last week's tough loss against the Tri-Cities Fever behind them. Despite losing two games this season the Ice remain competitive in the league. The Ice (1-2) will look to get back to their winning ways in perhaps a statement game against the Wranglers (3-0).

Against the Fever, the Ice scored a season high on their stingy defense. The Ice's strong offense led by QB, David Knighton (#5), will look to have another strong outing; however don't count out the defense looking to defend their home turf. Rookie kicking sensation, Aric Goodman (#9), who leads the league in accuracy, will give the Ice a leg up in what is sure to be a highly contested battle against the Wranglers.

The Colorado Ice and Sam's Club have partnered to benefit the Children's Miracle Network for their "Community Cares Day" game. Sam's Club and the Children's Miracle Network will be at the game accepting donations guaranteed to benefit local children.

Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. and doors will open at 2 p.m. For fans that aren't able to make it and wish to view the game, visit www.thecoloradoice.com and click on America One to watch the game, 1310 KFKA AM to listen to the game or stream live stats at www.poinstreak.com.

Tickets are available for this game and can be purchased by contacting the Colorado Ice office at (970) 472-0128 .
