
Colorado Ice Sign National Champion and Former Dallas Cowboy

The Colorado Ice are proud to announce the signings of two new players to the Ice Organization. The two players are Craig Stevens and Jessie Poku.
Stevens is a 6'2", 230 lb linebacker from Auburn University, who was rated as the 31st best outside linebacker prospect in the 2011 draft class. In four seasons at Auburn, Stevens played in 50 games; including the 2010 BCS National Championship game, in which Auburn beat Oregon. During his four years at Auburn, Stevens recorded 252 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 touchdown. In the BCS National Championship, Stevens created many problems for Oregon, accumulating five tackles. During his time at Auburn, Stevens received many different honors, including, Co-defensive MVP, SEC All Freshman Team, Honorable Mention Freshman All-American, and Preseason 2nd Team All-SEC among others.
Poku is a 6'2", 215 lb wide receiver from Eastern New Mexico University, who was rated as the 109th best wide receiver prospect in the 2011 draft class. Poku spent three seasons at ENMU, accumulating 204 receptions for 2327 yards and 24 touchdowns. In his senior season alone, Poku recorded 86 receptions for 932 yards and 11 touchdowns. Poku's talent didn't go unnoticed as he received many different honors throughout his career; from both the Lone Star Conference and from various Division II organizations. Poku also earned interest from the highest level, signing with his hometown Dallas Cowboys as a preferred free agent after his senior season.
